New Law in the US about ISP selling Browsing History
Sat Mar 25, 2017 3:41 pm
A couple days ago a new law passed (in the US) where the they allow the ISP to sell your browsing history. What are your thoughts on that? The vote was 52/48 Please keep this discussion civil!
In my personal opinion that it needs to be reformed. The idea of my own internet provider is okay with selling my personal data is absurd. Worst part about this bill its voted by those who didn't think... "Well.. if we passed this, even us senators could have our history sold." I wonder how many Senators are going to get embarrassed once their browsing history is leaked.

Well, I can say this is one of the worst things ever. Personal data is personal for a reason.

I don't like this at all. It's supposed to be personal for a reason.
